From the answers
When tracking brand mentions and citations across generative engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity, the market features a clear lowest-cost entry point for reliable, daily self-serve monitoring: Ryze AI Otterly AI Price: $29/month for the Lite plan. What you get: Daily tracking across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Microsoft Copilot. It includes 15 tracked prompts, unlimited team members, and basic GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) URL audits. The Catch: 15 prompts is a tight limit—ideal for a solo experiment or a very niche local/personal brand. If you need a more functional mid-market setup (e.g., 100 prompts), the price jumps to $189/month ( Standard). OtterlyAI +2 Orchly AI Price: $49/month. What you get: Daily tracking across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews with a slightly larger starting prompt allotment than Otterly's absolute cheapest tier. They also offer a 7-day free trial without requiring a credit card. Rankability +1 A Quick Word of Caution on AI Tracking Pricing Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) / AI visibility tracking tools scale rapidly once you move past basic testing. While $29 to $49/month gets you in the door for a handful of core queries, scaling up to dozens or hundreds of competitive product prompts quickly pushes most platforms into the $99 to $399+/month range. It is best to start small with a low-tier plan to see if the query insights give you actionable data before committing to a larger package. Reddit · r/AI_Agents +2 If you'd like, tell me: Roughly how many distinct product or brand keywords/prompts you want to track Whether you need to monitor competitors alongside your own brand name I can help you decide whether a $29 starter tier is enough or if you'll need a larger plan right out of the gate

For tracking brand mentions and citations specifically across ChatGPT and Perplexity (alongside other engines like Copilot and Google AI Overviews), dedicated Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) tools have emerged with clear budget-friendly options. Bloomiro +2 The cheapest and most reliable standalone entry-level options include: OtterlyAI (Lite Plan) – $29/month Best for: A clean, low-cost prompt watchlist. What you get: Tracks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, and Google AI Overviews. The Lite tier gives you 15 tracked search prompts running daily, unlimited team members, and basic GEO recommendations. The catch: The jump from Lite ($29) to the next major tier is steep, so it’s only cheapest if your prompt volume is small. Ryze AI +2 Bloomiro (Starter Plan) – Starts around $49/month Best for: Combining AI tracking with actual SEO data and site action items. What you get: Integrates AI search monitoring for ChatGPT/Perplexity with Google Search Console data, site scans, and competitor task lists. The catch: Uses a credit-based consumption model per AI prompt check, meaning heavy prompt scaling will require a higher plan. Bloomiro +2 Peec AI – Mid-tier alternative (~ $95/month) Best for: Deeper share-of-voice and source/citation analytics if you outgrow a 15-prompt limit. Bloomiro If you'd like to narrow this down, tell me: How many specific search prompts/keywords do you need to track daily? Do you also need competitor comparison metrics or just your own brand?

About this question
What's the cheapest reliable tool to track my brand's mentions in ChatGPT and Perplexity?
Over the last four weeks, AI answers to this question named Otterly (58 of 59 answers), Peec AI (22 of 59 answers) and Semrush (20 of 59 answers) most often. That is how often a name shows up, not a ranking of quality.
How is this measured?
The question is asked as written each week in logged-out US sessions. A brand's figure is the share of this question's valid answers that name it, over a rolling four weeks. To see how AI answers treat your own brand, run the free AI visibility scan at agnostify.com/audit.
How we measure
Each question is asked as written, from a logged-out United States session on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode.
How is a score calculated?
On a category board, the score is the share of every valid run across that category's questions that names the brand, over a rolling four weeks, with a 95% Wilson interval. Rows are ordered by the low end of that interval, so a brand named on one question cannot outrank one named across the category. A brand named in fewer than 10 runs, or on only one question, sits below the line as low confidence. On a question page the share is of that question's runs. Where a name sits in the answer is not a rank.
Which brands count where?
Names are matched to a reviewed brand list, and a brand counts only on questions in its own category. Names that are ordinary words, such as Streak, Loops and Instantly, count only when the answer clearly means the product. A CRM named as an integration in a meeting-notes answer is not a point on the meeting-notes board. A brand named in the question itself, as in “alternatives to Profound”, is not scored on that question, so those runs count neither for nor against it. A name that is not on the list stays off the board until a person adds it.
Will this match a signed-in chat?
A logged-out session has no memory and no personalization, so a signed-in person can see a different answer.
Cited pages are the sources that engine marked as citations, not every link in the raw response.
