From the answers
For a 5–10 person marketing agency, the "best" CRM depends entirely on whether your bottleneck is managing client pipelines/sales, automating client communication, or minimizing manual data entry. At this team size, you need something lightweight enough that your team will actually use it, but powerful enough to handle client retainers and lead tracking. Top CRM options tailored for a small agency break down as follows: HubSpot CRM Best for: All-in-one growth and scaling. Why it fits: It's the gold standard for marketing agencies. The free tier is robust, and upgrading to Starter gives you great email marketing, sales pipelines, and landing page tools. Plus, if you manage client campaigns, getting "HubSpot Certified" is a marketable skill for your team. The catch: It gets expensive quickly as your contact database grows or when you move up to Professional tiers. YouTube · StartupWise Pipedrive Best for: Pure sales pipeline management and ease of use. Why it fits: If your team loses track of incoming client pitches, proposals, and discovery calls, Pipedrive’s visual, drag-and-drop pipeline is unmatched. It’s affordable, lightning-fast to set up, and built specifically to keep salespeople (or agency founders) moving deals forward. The catch: It is strictly a sales CRM, meaning you'll need separate tools for heavy marketing automation. ActiveCampaign Best for: Heavy email marketing and client nurturing automation. Why it fits: If your agency’s growth relies heavily on sophisticated email sequences, behavior-based tagging, and lead scoring, ActiveCampaign combines a clean CRM with some of the best marketing automation features on the market. The catch: The interface has a steeper learning curve than Pipedrive or HubSpot. NetHunt CRM Best for: Gmail-centric teams and social/messenger-heavy agencies. Why it fits: It lives directly inside your Gmail inbox and integrates social channels like WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and Telegram straight into client records. If your team hates l

For a 5–10 person marketing agency, the "best" CRM depends entirely on whether you want a pure sales pipeline CRM, an all-in-one agency operations tool (managing projects and invoicing too), or a white-label marketing machine to resell to your own clients. At this team size, you want something agile, low-maintenance, and cost-effective—avoiding enterprise bloat like Salesforce. The top choices tailored for a 5–10 person agency include: HubSpot ( Best for the Growth-Focused Agency): The gold standard for inbound marketing. It offers a stellar free-to-affordable tier, tracks client acquisition pipelines seamlessly, and integrates natively with virtually every marketing tool you already use. Drawback: Pricing scales up steeply as your contact database grows. Pipedrive ( Best for Sales Pipeline Simplicity): Incredibly visual, intuitive, and fast to adopt. If your main bottleneck is tracking inbound client leads, proposal follow-ups, and sales stages without distraction, Pipedrive keeps the team focused. Productive or Fluid CRM ( Best All-in-One Operations): Small agencies often struggle with the disconnect between pre-sale CRM data and post-sale project delivery. Platforms like Productive combine pipeline tracking with time-tracking, budgeting, and agency profitability metrics. Fluid CRM GoHighLevel ( Best for Reselling & Local Marketing): Hugely popular for small agencies handling local SEO, funnels, and SMS marketing. It allows you to white-label the software and resell it as a SaaS product to your own clients for extra recurring revenue. Reddit · r/CRM ActiveCampaign ( Best for Heavy Email/Marketing Automation): If your agency relies heavily on deep behavioral tracking, complex email sequences, and precise list segmentation for client outreach. To help narrow down the exact right fit, tell me: Do you need the CRM strictly for your own agency's sales, or do you want to manage/resell it to clients? Are you already using a separate project management tool (like Asana, C

For a 5-10 person marketing agency, the "best" CRM depends entirely on whether you want a dedicated sales pipeline tool, an all-in-one client management system, or an agency growth engine you can white-label. At this team size, you need something lightweight enough that your team will actually use it, but powerful enough to track inbound leads and retain clients. Reddit · r/CRM +1 The top options tailored for a small agency are broken down below by use case: HubSpot CRM ( Best All-in-One / Industry Standard) Why it fits: It is the gold standard for marketing agencies. The free tier is great, but the Marketing/Sales Hub (Starter or Professional tiers) lets you seamlessly manage your own inbound pipeline, track client email engagement, and build automated follow-up sequences. The catch: Pricing scales up steeply once you move past entry-level tiers. Pipedrive ( Best Pure Sales Pipeline) Why it fits: Visually driven, hyper-focused on the sales pipeline, and incredibly user-friendly for a 5-10 person team that doesn't want enterprise bloat. It’s fantastic for tracking pitch calls, proposals, and deal stages without a massive learning curve. The catch: It is strictly a sales CRM, so you’ll need separate tools for heavy marketing automation or project management. Reddit · r/BusinessIntelligence +1 ActiveCampaign ( Best for Email-Heavy / Lead Gen Agencies) Why it fits: Blends robust CRM pipeline features with world-class email marketing and automation. If your agency builds funnels or runs lead generation retainers for clients (and you want to use those same stellar automation mechanics for your own agency outreach), it punches well above its weight class. The catch: The interface can feel busy and requires a bit of configuration to set up cleanly. GoHighLevel (GHL) ( Best for Reselling & Local Marketing Agencies) Why it fits: Built specifically for marketing agencies. It combines CRM, two-way SMS/email conversations, funnel building, and reputation management. Crucially,

About this question
What's the best CRM for a 5-10 person marketing agency?
Over the last four weeks, AI answers to this question named HubSpot (58 of 58 answers), Pipedrive (58 of 58 answers) and Zoho CRM (41 of 58 answers) most often. That is how often a name shows up, not a ranking of quality.
How is this measured?
The question is asked as written each week in logged-out US sessions. A brand's figure is the share of this question's valid answers that name it, over a rolling four weeks. To see how AI answers treat your own brand, run the free AI visibility scan at agnostify.com/audit.
How we measure
Each question is asked as written, from a logged-out United States session on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode.
How is a score calculated?
On a category board, the score is the share of every valid run across that category's questions that names the brand, over a rolling four weeks, with a 95% Wilson interval. Rows are ordered by the low end of that interval, so a brand named on one question cannot outrank one named across the category. A brand named in fewer than 10 runs, or on only one question, sits below the line as low confidence. On a question page the share is of that question's runs. Where a name sits in the answer is not a rank.
Which brands count where?
Names are matched to a reviewed brand list, and a brand counts only on questions in its own category. Names that are ordinary words, such as Streak, Loops and Instantly, count only when the answer clearly means the product. A CRM named as an integration in a meeting-notes answer is not a point on the meeting-notes board. A brand named in the question itself, as in “alternatives to Profound”, is not scored on that question, so those runs count neither for nor against it. A name that is not on the list stays off the board until a person adds it.
Will this match a signed-in chat?
A logged-out session has no memory and no personalization, so a signed-in person can see a different answer.
Cited pages are the sources that engine marked as citations, not every link in the raw response.
