From the answers
The "best" platform for user-generated content (UGC) videos depends heavily on your budget, ad spend volume, and in-house creative strategy. There is no single winner, but the market is broken down into specific tiers depending on what your DTC brand needs. Backstage +1 Top platforms categorized by how they fit different brand stages and workflows include: Insense — Best for Paid Social (Meta & TikTok Spark Ads) Why it’s great: It bridges the gap between creator marketplace and ad manager integration. You can invite creators, manage briefs, and directly request whitelisting/dark-posting permissions for Meta and TikTok. Best for: Mid-market DTC brands actively running performance campaigns that need continuous ad iteration. Backstage Billo — Best for Budget-Friendly, High-Volume Product Videos Why it’s great: It offers a streamlined, task-based marketplace where you ship your product, write a brief, and pick from pre-vetted micro-creators. Pricing is significantly lower per video (starting around $50–$100 range per asset depending on packages). Best for: Early-stage brands, Amazon sellers, or teams needing quick product-focused testimonial variants without heavy strategy overhead. Spark UGC +1 Cohley — Best for Mid-to-Enterprise Brands Scaling Content & Reviews Why it’s great: Cohley focuses heavily on high-volume asset generation, blending traditional UGC, influencer seeding, and review syndication into a single dashboard. Their creator tier is heavily vetted for aesthetic and professional quality. Best for: Scaling brands that need hundreds of visual assets and reviews across multiple SKUs simultaneously. Backstage Collabstr — Best for Transparent, Freelance-Style Creator Hiring Why it’s great: It acts like an "Upwork for influencers and UGC creators." Profiles, pricing, and past work are entirely public, meaning zero friction or hidden subscription fees to browse and hire. Best for: Brands that want total control over picking individual creators and negotiating di

Why it shines: Great for testing hooks, angles, and unboxings without breaking the bank. Backstage Best for Performance Ads & Whitelisting: Insense Best for: Brands scaling rapidly on Meta and TikTok that want spark ads / partnership code integration. How it works: A hybrid creator marketplace and management tool built explicitly for performance marketers. Why it shines: It allows you to easily request usage rights, run whitelisting/partnership ads directly through creators' handles, and manage communication efficiently. There is no single "best" platform because the right choice depends on your budget, ad spend volume, and in-house creative strategy. Platforms generally fall into three main categories—self-serve volume marketplaces, hybrid/mid-market platforms, and high-end creative agencies/studios. Spark UGC 1. Volume & Self-Serve Marketplaces Best for: Early-stage DTC brands, fast iteration of proven angles, or tight budgets ($60–$150 per video). Backstage 2. Hybrid & Performance-Driven Platforms Best for: Mid-market to enterprise DTC brands spending heavily on Meta/TikTok ads ($3,000–$10,000+/month ad spend) who need strategy, precise creator matching, and whitelisting/spark ad rights. Cohley +2 Insense: Insense connects you with vetted content creators and explicitly specializes in integrating with Meta and TikTok Partner ads (whitelisting/spark ads). It bridges the gap between raw creator content and high-performing ad setup. Backstage Cohley: Cohley focuses on high-volume content generation, helping brands scale both visual UGC and written product reviews seamlessly with enterprise-level dashboard support. Cohley +1 Soona (incorporating Trend): Soona combines professional studio workflows with user-generated creator content networks, giving you a smooth hybrid option for high-converting visual assets. About this question
What's the best platform to get UGC videos for a DTC brand's ads?
Over the last four weeks, AI answers to this question named Insense (54 of 54 answers), Billo (53 of 54 answers) and Collabstr (27 of 54 answers) most often. That is how often a name shows up, not a ranking of quality.
How is this measured?
The question is asked as written each week in logged-out US sessions. A brand's figure is the share of this question's valid answers that name it, over a rolling four weeks. To see how AI answers treat your own brand, run the free AI visibility scan at agnostify.com/audit.
How we measure
Each question is asked as written, from a logged-out United States session on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode.
How is a score calculated?
On a category board, the score is the share of every valid run across that category's questions that names the brand, over a rolling four weeks, with a 95% Wilson interval. Rows are ordered by the low end of that interval, so a brand named on one question cannot outrank one named across the category. A brand named in fewer than 10 runs, or on only one question, sits below the line as low confidence. On a question page the share is of that question's runs. Where a name sits in the answer is not a rank.
Which brands count where?
Names are matched to a reviewed brand list, and a brand counts only on questions in its own category. Names that are ordinary words, such as Streak, Loops and Instantly, count only when the answer clearly means the product. A CRM named as an integration in a meeting-notes answer is not a point on the meeting-notes board. A brand named in the question itself, as in “alternatives to Profound”, is not scored on that question, so those runs count neither for nor against it. A name that is not on the list stays off the board until a person adds it.
Will this match a signed-in chat?
A logged-out session has no memory and no personalization, so a signed-in person can see a different answer.
Cited pages are the sources that engine marked as citations, not every link in the raw response.
