Service details
On our Services page this is the Operations Audit: same work, same price. We measure one costly, repetitive workflow, find what it really costs, and tell you whether to automate it, redesign it, or keep a person on it. Sometimes the answer is “don’t build.”
What the service covers
One costly, repetitive workflow, measured
What that workflow really costs you today
A recommendation: automate it, redesign it, or keep a person on it
A written report you keep
A straight “don’t build” when that is the answer
Example workflow
Workflow chosenOne repeat task.
Cost measuredWhat it really takes.
Answer writtenAutomate, redesign or keep.
What that can look like
+
One repeat task, measured and answered.
For example, someone on your team copies order details from email into a spreadsheet and a shipping tool every day. The assessment measures what that really costs, then answers one question: should it be automated, should the process change first, or should a person keep doing it?
If the answer is to automate, the build is quoted separately. If the answer is to leave it alone, you know that before paying for a build.
Is this the right fit?
+
Where it helps, and when to start elsewhere.
When it fits
You suspect one task is eating time or money, and you want to know whether AI or automation can take it before paying for a build.
When to start elsewhere
If you already know what you want built, go straight to workflow automation. If your questions are wider, like which AI tools to use across the business, AI strategy consulting is billed by the hour.
How we work together
+
Pick, measure, recommend, next step.
Four steps: pick the workflow, measure it, write the recommendation, and agree the next step if there is one.
Agree which workflow to measure.
Measure what it really costs today.
Write the recommendation: automate it, redesign it, or keep a person on it.
Six answers: what it costs, whether it scores your whole company (no), how it relates to the Operations Audit, whether it includes the build (no), what happens if the answer is not to automate, and who it suits.
How much does an AI readiness assessment cost?
$2,500, fixed, for one workflow. Any credit toward a later step is quote-required and confirmed in writing.
Is this a company-wide AI readiness score?
No. It looks at one workflow, measured, with a written recommendation. There is no scorecard or company-wide rating.
Is this the same as the Operations Audit?
Yes. The Operations Audit on our Services page is this assessment: same work, same price.
Does the assessment include building the automation?
No. It is a paid analysis engagement. Building the fix is scoped and priced separately. The build terms are on the workflow automation page.
What if the answer is not to automate?
Then that is the answer you get. Sometimes the right move is to redesign the process or keep a person on it, and the report says so.
Is it for small businesses?
Yes. Our published rates are for a company of 1 to 20 people. For a larger company, the price is agreed in writing before work starts.
Start with the right scope.
The first call is free. A paid spend check, audit or teardown gets you a written report on what we found and what to do next; building the fix or running it for you is a separate job. We agree the next step before you pay for it.
